Wouldn't have been anything above £50,000 considering we were in the 3rd Div when we signed him.

Thats a good one. Give him a slap. I read yesterday £50k either on the club site or in the Argus. Can't remember which.

500K. That still makes me laugh when I read it. Where were we when we signed him? 3rd division (or league 2 fizzy pop contest)?

Timeline:

14 October 1999
Danny Cullip completes the formalities of his £50,000 signature from Brentford, chosing the Albion, without hesitation, instead of League newcomers Cheltenham.
8 October 1999
Albion complete the permanent signing Danny Cullip from Brentford for £50,000 (the contracts are not yet completed).
30 September 1999
Mark Walton, goalkeeper, asks for a transfer.
22 September 1999
Warren Aspinall signed on a month's loan from Colchester, with Andy Arnott going the other way on loan.
18 September 1999
Danny Cullip, central defender signed on a month's loan from Brentford. Darren Carr, the defender signed from Gillingham for £25,000 has suffered another injury and it is not known when he will be fit.

PS: Brentford spent the money on ..... Lorenzo Pinamonte (ha, ha!)

11 February 2000
Bobby Zamaro, a young striker, arrives on loan from Bristol Rovers.

10 February 2000
Albion sign Carl Hutchings (midfielder) on loan from Bristol City (or at least they thought they did). The deal fell through at the last minute and the player joined Brentford.

3 February 2000
Albion miss the chance to sign Lorenzo Pinamonte (striker) from Bristol City. He goes to Division 2 Brentford for a fee of £75,000 instead.
