1997 First full time was £70 pw for 35 hrs at International Factors doing my job skills nvq business administration. Passed it with merit and realised i hated working in an office and left, done just about every other job since and still havent managed to break in to the magical £24,000 average salary..

Live in, all food (which was terrible) and free use of the telephone switchboard girls (which was great).

Start about 7 am, finish whenever, possibly a couple of hours off in the afternoon except for Political Party Conferences when it was 6am till about 2 or 3 in the morning.

I loved it! Especially the switchboard girls. Dorothy Murgatroyd, where are you now?
