1984 - north stand with no roof
1985 - lost 0-4 at Anfield in the league cup
1991 x 2 - brilliant first game, always remember thinking we scored too early in the replay

Six for me:

1979-80 FL (h) 1-4
1980-81 FL (h) 2-2
1981-82 FL (h) 3-3
1982-83 FL (a) 1-3
1983-84 FAC (h) 2-0
1990-91 FACr (h) 2-3 (had a ticket for the Anfield match but didn't go.)

Wish I'd been at Anfield for the 5th round tie in 83 - went to the league defeat that season instead. Annoyingly, I have an old mate who calls himself an 'armchair Brighton fan' (he's not really interested in football) - and that is the only game he's ever been to!!

I have a distant memory of us playing Liverpool for Jimmy Case's testimonial at the Goldstone circa 1994. Matt Le Tissier donned an Albion shirt in that game! It was so packed I could only get a seat in the disabled section. I was 8 years old and I was hooked.

11 so far - the win at Anfield in '82 was on my 18th birthday so I have rather fond memories of that game!

Only the second time I'd ever been locked out of a Brighton game. The other one was the Norwich FA Cup 1/4 final

I could not get my usual SW terrace or Historical North place and ended up in the Southeast.

Saw the 3-3 draw at the Goldstone in one of those early 80's seasons. Anyone know how many times they've actually beaten us?

That was my first ever game, October 1981. Fantastic. I went in as an eight-year-old Liverpool 'fan', but came out blue and white. The thrill of standing on a milk crate at the front of the North Stand was a life-changing experience :clap2:

Mine(that i can remember-though was taken to games in the late 70's-and i am still alive:lolol:) was Swansea that same season-lost 1-2 midweek-funnily enough viewed from the East, remember crying and was also 8,but as i was not a fan proper until 1988...why did i come back? Bespoke JCl springs to mind.

Well sorry mate but you made a young Biscuit a very happy boyo. Watching from the disabled section made it even more of a memory for me. I'd been to a few games before then but that game was probably the first time I was 100% hooked on going to Brighton games.

Yes but we did take the lead in extra time through Johnny Byrne and should have held on. Steve McMahon made the difference in the end. I'll never forget the away game or replay as long as I live
