I couldn't make it last season. I will be there on Saturday. To be honest it is one ground that I've wanted to go to for a long time!

I hope you're not too disappointed. It is a bit tatty round the edges now.

Went last season, and again this season. They have barcode scanners for the turnstiles! Ground is a bit disappointing though. However, a great opportunity to abuse Harding!

Last year there was an appeal because it was Leeds, now they're just another club, ha ha.

unfortunatley couldn't make it last year but will be there on saturday. and i hate leeds fans because most of them only follow leeds because they think it makes them look cool or hard. a lot of them dont actually know a lot if anything about football.
i say this because i know quite a few of them myself. ok they have real fans aswell but even they must get a little peaved by the moronic behavoir of some of their other so called supporters.
come on brighton lets pull of a shock here so i can have a laugh at a few mates, just like i did last season. :lolol:
even the whole household next door to me are leeds fans.

i quite liked the ground, it wasn't one of these new modern stadiums that are so boring. and the barcode scanners were superb!

Bit Like Hillsborough Yorkie? That ground definitely needed a lick of paint!

Went last season for the novelty, not so sure I will bother this time, mainly due to the fact I have already done three away games and want to do another five or six before christmas. Can't afford to do every one anymore. Hopefully I can wait until Saturday morning to decide and pay on the day.

Last time I was at leeds was the day of Hillsborough. There were about 100 Brighton fans. Highlight was Crumplin coming off the bench to chants of 'sit down Crumplin Sit down'. He nearly bloody scored as well. A season later he was a football genius.

Police escort to and from the ground. The copper had a sense of humour he said we are not going to go up this year but the protection is for your own good. They went up next year.

Anyway I remember their kop end cheering as the announcement came over the tannoy about the disaster and that some Liverpool fans had died.

Some fans are sick.

No that it mattered but we lost 1-0

my mate got me a train ticket for £19.00, I just could not say no at that price so I'll be there with 4 others and some ale, besides I missed last season due to lack of funds so its one I fancy getting in this year. Also theres the Harding element and games against clubs with reputaions for having a bad element in their following usually have a certain je nes sai

Not so much anymore, Uncle Ken spent a small fortune in the close season improving the stadium/facilities.

This game is one of the highlights of the season, wouldn't miss it for the world. Can't understand anyone who is jaded by fixtures like this after years of Mansfields, Lincolns and Halifaxes.

Plus Leeds are well on the recovery trail by now and are good dark horses for promotion this year - this might be the last year for a generation perhaps that we see our team run out at Elland Road, catch it while you can :drink: :drink:
