It was up La Grande Motte, go right up to the very top, down the wide Red run then its on the right handside (actually near the lower Cable Car area), forget the exact name and piste maps on the 'net are abit blurry.

Megeve for me, fly out on 23 December, come back 3 Jan, nice.

Had a couple of attempts at snowboarding and got fed up with being a beginner again and always having to sit down to put my board on and not being able to go along paths.

I bought some parabolic skis for the first time, this summer.
Mammoth and Big Bear await.

''I feel good (I knew that I would)''

Does anyone else have a fave theme-tune for their first day on the slopes?

Mammoth is a superb place to go. The mountain is huge and should last you most of a week. Chucked it down with snow part way through the week which was a bit painfull to ride in but made the rest of the week even better. The good thing about the states is no shitty drag lifts. Lake Tahoe is also excellent. Loads of resorts all within close proximity of each other.
