My first post was a guess....i have just measured with tape measure and it is spot on 8 inches.........quite pleased with that (and it is still snowing)

My garden table in Haywards Heath has 13 1/2 ins or 34 cm for younger viewers. Have lived in HH since 1979 and never seen it this deep before.:lol:
