How many different PLACES have you lived in?

There are some parts that are not too bad. Mainly the suburbs, but large parts of it are run down, lots of industrial sites and not much to do. Dominated by roads.
I was probably being over harsh with the worst town in Devon, but the name is quite misleading. Newton Abbott does conjure up nice images, I'll give you that.

Really? I've never been there. I'm just imagining a quaint little Devon village with lots of old people enjoying cream teas, milking goats, and making sandcastles, hence I'd like to live there. As I'm spectacularly wrong, I'll withdraw that statement!

Well, apart from the AMAZING fact that I was born there, BoF isn't too far from the truth. My Mum and Dad would probably have TAUGHT many of the people who subsequently gave birth to the teenage Mums and angry looking chavs he talks about!

It is NEAR loads of quaint Devon villages though

GOOD question.

A lot of my mates at School were Pompey so I got a lucky escape. My Dad took me to The Goldstone for my 9th birthday - my Godfather's BROTHER was playing for Torquay and he sorted out the tickets. After that there was no contest really. Started going more often and was a home and away superfan like you and POTTER in the mid 70s.

28th August this year is the 40th Anniversary of that game against Torquay.
