8 or 9 I think.

Home:

3-1 Sept 78
2-0 Boxing Day (Eighties sometime)
1-1 Gerry Ryan game (Eighties sometime)
2-1 5 pens (March 89)
5-0 Of course

Away (you'll have to help with the dates)

0-1 83-ish
0-2 84-ish
1-3 Boxing Day 88.

Probably more I've forgotten. My dad wouldn't take me to the Brighton games much when I was young as it had started to kick off big time.

BHA really had the upper hand in the 1980s didn't they?

Nearly got one cancelled.

When I was on Surrey FA I had a pass which allowed me entry into any ground in the county but out of courtesy they asked that we advise CPFC if any members were going to attend which I did and Palace said that I couldnt as they didnt havea seat for me. It was during Noades time. I told County FA secretary who phoned Palace and told them that they had to find me a seat as I was a county member or the game could not be played. 10 minutes later they found me a seat sitting next to Ian Wright and David Rocastle of Arsenal who were at the match. It was the game when there was a number of penalties for both sides I cant remember exactly how many but quite a few.

Ian Wright scored in that game - maybe you inspired him to join the lads and have a kick around in the second half.
