How long does it take you to drive to work

Well,

Just wondering how far / how long it takes people to DRIVE to work, and ideally where from / to ??

Might be getting a new job which is mainly field-based [dont mind that] Or based in HOOK Hampshire, which is a pain to get too from Worthing!!

Though saying that, im currently travelling from Worthing to East Grinstead, so used to a 45-60minute drive..

So just wondering how far / how long it takes everyone to drive to work!!

OK, I work from home on the very odd occasions when I'm not posting on here...

31 minutes during school hols.
45-60 minutes any other time.

Driving would take anything from half an hour to an hour. Parking permit costs nearly £70 plus petrol and wear and tear.

No thank you.

I leave the house at 8.20, train at 8.30, Eastleigh at 8.36, 2 minute walk to work, in at 8.40

All this for £35 a month.

No driving, but it takes me an hour and a quarter to get from Worthing to East Croydon on the train. It's fine, but not special after you've had a few beers after work! Ended up in Chichester the other day as a I slept through!!

Luckily only do this trip once a week on a Monday, the rest of the week is working from home !

i just wondered what 'too far' was, and how far people travel regularly, as I dont really want to commit to a job, where after a year, im gonna hate the travelling!

Drive from Ditchling to Portsmouth every day. It takes just over an hour.

Haywards Heath to Lewes. Anywhere between 30 and 45 minutes. About 20 minutes on the way home.

4 minute walk to Shoreham station, an hour 10 mins on the train to London Bridge (on a good day, 5 hours on a bad one!) and 10 mins walk from London Bridge to work.

I used to spend 1 hr 45 mins commuting to the City every day, but now go down two flights of stairs to my office in the basement of our house.

The traffic by the bathroom can be horrendous in the morning...

I find that a lot as well. I'm thinking of putting in a bus lane.
