How about David Platt to replace McGhee?

Christ on a bike Morris, do you do this to wind us up or are you actually serious?

It draws a bit of attention his way when he's been out of the limelight for 10 minutes. Leave him be.

And Wilson isnt that good a manager, he's prone to falling out with players just as much, I know that from someone who played for him at City. And their fitness levels were poor.

So no change from Magoo then :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

As one of the McGhee Out camps loudest voices Richie Id like to congratulate you on showing exactly why most of us shouldnt take any notice whatsoever.

David Platt? Id rather have Howard Wilkinson!

Said in the press this weekend he does not mind working at a financially restricted club as long as they are ambitious in the long term.

Might be worth a look?
This from someone who has constantly sought to slag off and undermine the manager (and therefore the team), then makes the suggestion that we should get behind the team and management, and then does yet another one-eighty, and wants to undermine the manager once again with someone with a much worse managerial record. And Platt certainly plays players out of position - remember Bobby Zamora on the left of midfield?

You perform so many volte-faces, you are in serious danger of agreeing with yourself.

No, Morris, he is not worth a f***ing look, nor for that matter is anyone else. I don't know if you had noticed, but the manager's position is already filled. Your future as a washed-up, two-bit non-thinking hack is drawing ever closer Morris.

Thats probably the only way he can trust himself not to f*** them up beyond all recognition.

Ritchie's suggestion was no doubt 'well intentioned' but his past track record has brought forth adverse comment.

Still, I wait with almost baited breathe for his next offering.

Bloody hell. I was only suggesting it to see what people thought of Platt.

It is called DEBATE which is what FORUMS are for.

Anyone would think I had just pissed on the Queen.

I'd take Magoo over Wilson any day. Wilson got Barnsley promoted, which was a great achievement but has done f*** all since. He wasnt well respected at Wednesday or Bristol City by the end, and after a bright start MK Dons are struggling again.
