Im a hove boy, have to admit that I prefer Hove to Brighton. Brighton, especially West St can get a bit 'out of townie' and crass.

Didn't Hove Borough Council start it, to try and get the borough a slightly higher profile as it was constantly being amalgamated into Brighton at every opportunity.

I've always liked Hove a bit more than Brighton - not least because it was the home of the Albion. But it's definitely gone downhill in the past ten years - George Street is now packed with pikeys on a daily basis

I have a t-shirt with 'Hove Actually' on the front. Always got a reaction when out in town, although a group of beered up rugby blokes grabbing me round the neck and singing "'SCOOMBERS! 'SCOOMERS!" could have been done without!

The CRAZY part about it all is that I've never actually lived in Hove - BONKERS or WHAT!?
