If you are in the know, did commercial properties move at about the same rate as domestic?

Sorry, I've never been remotely close to commercial sales, so wouldn't know where to look for the information, even.

Interesting that becoming a City was generally regarded as having a massive effect on house prices, but there is barely an inflection in the graph.

Not so.

Before B&H became a city, house prices were about 10 per cent below the regional average. Now they are about 10 per cent above it.

Thats what I had always believed.
I suppose if you look carefully at the graph there is a change of gradient upwards at year 2000.
