Oh bugger, I guess that striker is much greater a need than we had previously thought

Such ashame he's injury prone for us,sad that he will likely only be here for this season and we'll never get that 500k back.:nono:

Christ we are so weak up front, two recognised strikers???

RT @Hosky_7 Just a bruised foot from Dicksy's studs in training yesterday. Just a bit of swelling. Nothing serious. Game just came a bit too soon.

Bit more serious than bruising then!

Jeez but he must be beginning to think he is jinxed :nono:

Hopefully he will keep his head up this time after his horrible experience last season and hopefully the club have learned something and will ensure that he has support for his emotional health as well as physical fitness.
On a positive note it means that even if we were tempted to move him out (and I have no idea if we might have or not) he can't go anywhere now so he has from sometime in September until the end of December to prove himself at the Albion and earn a new deal. I for one am actually pleased at that at least because I rate him highly :albion:

Well, look. It's no more than a few months I guess. 1 month of that being barely starting the season. I still have high hopes for him

Damn I had hopes for Hoskins this season.

Not sure why some are so vitriolic about Dicker? Do you think he meant it? - must be NSCers from our junior branch?

Gutted for him, he was looking awesome this pre season and was looking decent. Hope his head doesn't drop too much and affect him mentally. Those saying he is injury prone, he had never broken a bone in his foot before as far as I know, so not sure how this is prone ?

@OfficialBHAFC: Gus after tonight's game reveals Hoskins has broken foot and is out for six weeks. LuaLua and Elphick were subbed as a precaution. #BHAFC
