What I said was the SCENE is pretty much dead. Almost all of the weekly nights have gone, apart from the ones I've named. You've named two clubs that only exist for big nights and festivals, the music is only kept alive because it's still strong on the continent. 10 years ago there were 5 clubs playing trance (even more if you count hard dance/trance crossovers) every single week just in brighton. Now there's one or two a month that I know of.
All this stuff goes in cycles, dance music has been weak over hear since about 05/06, it will get big again I'm sure.
