Those security gaurds are always chasing people down North St! Funny thing is, they never seem to catch the culprits/shoplifters. There is one who thinks he is in MI5! He is always talking in to his collar mic and trying to hide in doorways

A man was arrested in Brighton today after stealing a laptop computer on display in Dixons, Churchill Square, and subsequently stabbing a security guard who gave chase. The man, said to be in his twenties, was wearing jeans and a Nike sports top, when he detached security cables from the laptop and ran out of the store. He was held up by several passers by, but as the security guard accosted him in Western Road, the man drew what appeared to be a pen-knife and stabbed the guard in the thigh before making off with the computer.

Eye witnesses said the thief was acting strangely in the store, shuffling from side to side with his eyes closed, singing Will Youngs number one hit single "Evergreen", before seeming to flip out, ripping the laptop violently from the display shelf and bolting from the store. Witnesses described him as an overweight individual with a curious, loping running action. Police eventually caught the man masturbating furiously in telephone box alongside the NCP car park in North Street. The guard is receiving treatment for the stab wound in the Royal Sussex County Hospital, and is said to be comfortable. A 24 year old man has been remanded in custody for questioning.
