I do agree that experience would be handy - maybe in a Jason Roberts sort of way but don't think Heskey is the right choice, he can be a handful on his day but last few times I've seen him on telly he didn't look very mobile. I suppose he would get a few goals at this level and of course Gus knows best, so I'll happily be proved wrong!

I see Mr Heskey is still a free agent. Would anyone like to see him do a 'Hammond' and switch his interest to us? I think he'd be great on our bench & could potentially change a dozen or so games for us although I'd have him as plan c rather than b. An extra option for Gus. thoughts?
