the rumour about Norwich has been knocking around all summer - not surprising after a good loan period last year. Wouldn't read too much into it tbh. More interested in the response from a fan that he is in Arsenal's pre-season tour party.

Nothing on his twitter feed to suggest he has spoken to anyone or is likely to be doing so. If it happens I'm guessing it's either a surprise bid gone in around the £3m mark (would Bozza and co have heard whispers of that if it happened?) or a loan and that won't be before the very last days of the transfer window.

I don't know if we're after him on loan or to buy, but we are after him. However, if we're out to buy him and Norwich have had a £2m bid rejected, it would suggest he is the player that is going to beat the £2.5m for CMS. Speculation of course

Wouldn't really give too much credibility to that Swansea messageboard as that's over a month old, so guess that's when it was kicking about in the press.

Good player and would love to see him here but think if he is sold will be to Norwich and loaned out would be to another prem club.

What's happened to these two players that according to the Argus we were 'on the brink of signing' on Wednesday?

If he is keen to stay at Arsenal and Wenger is happy to keep him as long as he gets experience out on loan then Norwich's bid to buy will be rejected and he could come here instead, on loan. *strawclutching*

Maybe we have tabled a bid well in excess of 3 million that Arsenal have in principle accepted, maybe the lad has agreed personal terms and maybe there will be an anouncement early next week.... But who knows.

Hot or cold bozza/stumpy tim?
