There is this bloke on youtube - troubleclef - who is absolutely sublime at playing the classical guitar.

Anyway he has loads and loads of video's on there.

Does anyone know if you can put some sort of continuous play facility on youtube whereby you pick a certain amount of uploads and play them in order?

I think it is probably illegal, but can you copy any of the video's posted on there and drop them on your PC?

Cheers

here is an example. ( warning Not the music facists taste at all)

what does that do mate? can I open the site at work?

Sorry DTG. You enter the URL of the vid you want to download
you tube, break, google etc and you can save it to your machine in .flv format.

edit to add flv is I think flash but you can get converters to change it to other formats.

Play the video and record the audio with a CD burning prog. eg Nero, WinOn CD.

Or use a loopback sound recorder - your sound card needs to support this but most do. get an app like Nero Wave Editor or Audacity, set the input to "loopback" or "stereo out" or "stereo mix", hit record, then start playing

And turn off MSN sounds, etc, that might interrupt.

Yes it does. Both for Firefox (add on for browser) and for IE (stand alone-ish)

Then use 'Super' prog to convert.

YOu need to put in the cassette, press record and play together and put the cassette recorder right up next to the speaker on the monitor. Then play the video you want and hey presto, you have your own tape recording.

It's usually best to just let it keep recording then go back and listen to the end of the song a few times so you know exactly when the guy starts talking and then stop it just in time so when you record the next song it creates a seamless compilation tape.
