Have I created a monster?

Capitalising on the excitement of Swindon & the success in Cardiff, my g/friend became very eager to go to a game.
Great, I thought, wait till the fixtures & we'll see.
So with Reading 1st game & the countdown clock remindering her, we're all set, (she brought her AMS ticket without fuss).
But now her excitement is becoming unbearable, I'm finding myself saying it's only a footy game, which leaves me reeling.
Only to hear this morning "I've got nothing to wear, can I go in this".

Have I created a monster who'll be cheering on Reading cos there in blue & white, & will be questioning how I know SC has VD.
OR
Will she eventually calm down & get into the swing of things?

Well I've taken my g/f a few times over the last 4 seasons, and we've lost each game!

Rest easy though she's not coming with me tommorow!

Do you need quotation marks when quoting oneself?

Just wondering.
Don't really know. Went for them just in case.... I guess I was quoting myself saying it in the past??

From what I know of your missus, it's you who should be at home washing the dishes.

Just as I feared, we're going through the clothes issue now.
I've already had, "can I buy a programme", & "where are we going to park".
God I hope we win, cos I'm in for a well long day.
