Definatly not just cannon fodder for Hatton, a younger, fitter and probably quicker fighter than hatton. Im a massive Hatton fan and would love to see him Knock Mallignagi out to regain his status as worlds top light welter weight but I hope Hattons lifestyle in between fights hasnt finally started to catch up with him. Will be interesting to see if Mayweather seniors training will have changed his style at all, been working on better defence and head movement.
If he wins could set up one last super fight for him against winner of De la hoya or Mani Pacquiao which i reckon will be a great fight on 6th december!

He has won several fights with one hand, hes suffered broken right hand and lot of other hand trouble......hes left jab alone has won him fights.
