Gatting did have a kind of long range shot in the first half.
When young Upson came on he looked direct and a prospect, but Hastings did pack the midfield and defence. I thought both teams were well matched with the exceptions of Hart, Reid and Lynch who looked the best on show as they should have and Chamberlain who also looks the part
