Has there ever been a team more unlikely to score a goal from a corner than us?

Our centre backs record at scoring headers from set pieces is shocking. Far play El Abd is not the tallest. But Greer is no short arse, you would have thought he would chip in with half a dozen a season, like a lot of centre backs do. Elphick used to have a knack of scoring his fair share. Our lack of goals, from our centre backs and centre midfield players is something that needs addressing. The defence and midfield between them need to chip in at least 20 goals a season.

Keep it on the deck from corners and get penalties (so we can miss them too!!)

The answer could be to vary the cross sometimes. A ball to the far post would make a change as long as we have someone coming in to nod it in. There always seems to be lots of space around that area.
Croft and Hammond scored many for us and then Norwich and Southampton from that position but dont look like getting anywhere near for us at the moment.

All we need now is Acker to look at the other teams in this Division otherwise whilst this stat sounds shocking its pretty meaningluss if other teams have been so profligate from corners.

I don't have those stats for other teams, except against us: none have score against us from a corner. We have sored three, 2 v burnley (though that includes the one where the corner was taken, it went all the way through to the other corner and was then cross back in and CMS scored his second) Orlandi, crossing in for Greer and one v Millwall
