Well, yes... but the decision has been made by Greene King.

Ok - Understand now! Thanks!

Obviously a commercial decision - hope the ale people vote with their feet!!

Indeed... I might also add that even though I don't spend much time in Lewes at the moment I try my best not to set foot in a Greene King pub these days, wherever it may be. as for the beer... .

The only reason he is supporting this is because it is something that Lewes residents care about. Most people in Lewes, though pissed off at the money spent objecting to it, do not care either way about Falmer.

I cant beleive im actually going to back up norman'any cuase wil do ' Baker but he is a big advocate of harveys & is lobbying to have it permantantly installed in the House of commons bar so in this instance ..........

nah ... he's still a wanker

It is indeed.

One of many events in the pub that are threatened by Greene King's pig headedness.

Real ale is for men, you lager-drinking poof. :tosser:

Thirded.

Although at the risk of being shot, my local here in Exeter serves Greene King IPA, which I am rather fond of.

Correctamundo.

Seriously, I feel sorry for people who don't like real ale. I suppose it's not their fault - God must have made them that way.

Remove the word "like", and the bit about "god", and you've got my viewpoint. I'd rather die of thirst, thanks.
