Red, White and Rose on Ditchling Road and Queen's Road always has loads of Harvey's too. About fifteen different options last time I was in the Ditchling Road branch.

You could always go to your local supermarket and buy some London Pride and have a decent drink for Christmas.

When I had my pub in Guildford I got my usual brace of pheasants from Harveys but they were riddled with bugs etc transpired that the farmer who had shot them delivered them to the brewery and everywhere was locked up except the boiler room. He left them in there on Saturday morning and left a messsage on tyhe phone that he had done so but nobdy picked up the message until Monday morning hence they went off.

Perhaps the putrid pheasants were a marketing ploy to mask the taste of their awful beers?

Personally I would go for a Dark Star beer rather than Harvey's. Work in a real ale pub in leicester called 'The Criterion' and we've got the Dark Star Hophead, Festival and the fantastic Espresso Coffee Beer (Won the UK Camra Specialist Beer 2009) on draft atm (aswell as 8 other real ales for anyone venturing north during the holidays. But good luck with the Harvey's anyway :)

Bought my Harveys in Trafalgar Wines yesterday. Was a bit worried when I walked in and there was little Harveys available but the bloke behind the counter said Harveys had been selling well all day and he hadn't restocked the shelves yet.

It's a great little shop, plenty of other beers to try (I bought some Hepworth as well). The only Dark Star they had was the Espresso Coffee beer, which struck me as a bit gimmicky.

I might go back for some more on Christmas Eve - there were some interesting Belgian beers there too.

Sorry Gwylan, that was me! Bought 8 bottles in there at lunch time including all the copperwheat and lewes castle brown ale. I told the geezer that I'd advertised his shop on NSC.
