Another good thing about Harley is that he has been training with Swansea And their passing game so he should already know our passing game well, soo he will settle quickly

According to Palace fans I thought we had spen all our money, an essential signing given our lack of corner taking / free kick taking options.

Any video links to him playing? I honestly don't know much about him.

A swift search via Google/YouTube brings these choice specimens:

Goal round up, not sure about the song though ... ???

He takes pens, too - not sure Ashley will be too pleased

Ropey clip, but good finish

Could become our new playmaker ...

I make it we have spent just over £5 MILLION on putting this squad together so far
CMS £2.5mill
Buckley £1mill
Hoskins £500k
Noone £300k
Greer £300k
Harley £250k
Barnes £150k
Dicker £15k

Some of those are absolute bargains - not forgetting those who came on a freeof course.

Good buy but according to Wikki he didnt play a single game for Swansea, they sent him back to exeter onloan ???

Yea common knowledge, Exeter wouldn't sell him to us in Jan as they were promotion/playoff candidates at the time, so sold him to Swansea on the basis they could keep him for the rest of the season. Then Swansea went up.

He WAS at the AMEX on Saturday too, saw him after the game with Martin Perry

Swansea got him on a free from Exeter on condition of the loan back.

Weird, last week it was said that we couldn't sign him until we got international clearance. Now we're saying we've signed him but can't play him until the clearance comes through.

Did someone realise this morning that we could sign him and just not play him until the clearance came through?
The Welsh will make us wait along time, after what we did to Cardiff last week, and said about their sheep

Brighton - In your face
Our corners are bloody terrible (bar the goal on saturday, Greer wont get that many cheeky backheels that good) so he's welcome. When Noone went off nobody wanted to take them!

A fantastic adition to a very committed squad of players, In Gus we Trust.

Brilliant news, hope he can have a run out tomorrow, amazed Swansea do not need him.

Exactly my thinking! Noone - £300k? Greer - £300k? Barnes - £150k!

Those are incredible value for money. Once we become established in this league their value should AT LEAST double. Apart from maybe Greer who despite being class, isn't a spring chicken.

I'm very chuffed to have Harley in the team. He has a real touch of quality, great range of passing, set piece specialist, good shot and strong in the air. Despite the fact our midfield is playing fantastically, I'm certain Harley will force his way in before too long.

I rate Sparrow as well as a backup but it's getting crowded now and I wonder how Dicker will react if he gets dropped for a few games? Either way it's a long season and I'm delighted to have the strength and depth we now have in midfield.
