Polegate
Holroyd - shit
Arismendi - shit
Hendrie - past it
LuaLua - class but injury prone
Barnes - superb League 1 signing, not up to it in Championship
Ankergren - ditto Barnes
Calderon - great in League 1, jury's out now though
Painter - ditto Calderon
Greer - great signing
Sandaza - shit
Brezovan - unconvincing keeper
Hoskins - half a million pound sicknote
Buckley - great player but appears to be a million pound sicknote
Mackail-Smith £2.5million. 6 goals
Kishishev - did the job for half a season before his legs packed up
Wood - failed to impress after an encouraging start
Vincelot - doesn't appear to offer anything other than versatility
Paynter - shit, laughing stock
Bridcutt - great signing although a bit of a lucky one
Vicente - has achieved the impossible in being a more expensive sicknote than Paul Kitson, and an even bigger joke
Harper - good keeper, 1 month loan = pointless
Sparrow - inconsistent midfielder, sometimes good, frequently anonymous
Noone - good signing with potential, no end product currently
Harley - 1/4 million pounds worth of shit
Baz - shit
Battipiedi - shit

No wonder Tony Bloom won't give him any more money. Don't expect much in the way of signings this month.

Silly old bat
Amazing that we won League 1 with a record number of points and now holding our own in the Championship, beating a Premiership team in the cup with such awful signings. He must be a clever chap.
I love a Withdean Wanderer thread as we always do well just after he starts one.

Lee Hendrie did the job he was signed for, I would put him in the for column. And I would say Adam El-Abd has basically been a new signing, the way he's played.

I'm off down the bookie to bet on us winning by more than 3 goals. :lolol:

Didn't stephenson have a big part in buying some of these players?

Excellent, I was just thinking I could do with some tiresome drivel to read before bedtime.

Amazing how he managed to have us promoted as champions and get us within 4 points of a play off place really.

Quite. All of this just makes Poyet an EVEN better manager, producing the phenomenal results he's managed with such a terrible set of players.

List out any manager's signings... and I mean ANY manager and there will be an element of shit there...

Poborsky
Kezman
Jeffers
Carroll

To name but 4 signings from 4 of the most successful managers in the Premier League...

Have to say that while everyone is entitled to an opinion, describing WW as a supporter would be stretching the meaning of the word a touch too far..................
