Chelsea could employ three of the top managers in the world concurrently and the penny would still not drop with them or Abramovich -

the best teams are built over time from combining youth team progression talent
and buy-ins - not simply buy-ins.

Yep thats why they've won more titles than arsenal in the last 10 years!

Chelsea may have drafted in a few managers over the past decade but the nucleus of the side hasn't really changed. Perhaps that's why Chelsea are certainly at least the second best side in English football currently.

To be fair he did say 'the best teams are built over time'. Don't think you can class Arsenal as one of the best teams anymore.

Well exactly, if Roman wants to win the Champions League and consecutive titles - he's not going to be comparing his team to Arsenal is he. Essbee also made the point of youth progression and buy-ins, the 'buy-ins' part hasn't twigged with Arsene yet, and their downfall is the opposite to Chelsea's.

Chelsea have some quality players but not 11 of them that can play at the same time therefore they have a weakness on the field and too many teams have exposed that this season.

Ancelotti will probably get the boot as he hasn't really improved the side since Mourinho was there, in fact I think they are worse now then under Jose
