All these free U10 ST's are included in the substantial increase in ST sales at Smellhurst.
Alright, it doesn't compare to your 20k-ish ST holders, but then again we haven't got a new stadium yet so it's to be expected. Looking at where you have come from with, what, 4000 ST holders at most a few years ago(?) it shows that a new stadium can swell your fan base massively. We'll be looking to do that, except we won't need to do it to such a great extent.
Perhaps you'll be down to 4000 season ticket holders after several years in your temporary athletics stadium home.
Bore off.
The point is that Palace are desaperdo for support against dwindling crowds and interest. The u10 offer is an attempt to draw in the paying parent and make some much needed revenue.
The hilarious thing is this offer has been advertised widely in se london and would have cost them, and their st numbers are still pretty poor. Also when a groupon offer is taken Groupon take half the cash. Palace are clearly concerned and desperate. If we as Brighton fans cant have a little fun with that considering our inferior position to them whilst playing fairly and they have cheated financially then what is the world coming too?
