Calderon was getting slaughtered in the last 20 mins but had been solid up until then. El Abd just keeps amazing me.

I thought Greer was decent today (a few misplaced passes), as were Bridcutt and Navarro, but my MOM was Lewis Dunk. Won EVERYTHING in the air, and superb distribution.

This post is a classic example of what I just do not get, blinkered regional thinking. Lewis Dunk is from Brighton, Gordon Greer is from Glasgow; there lies the difference.

Greer is schooling Dunk and training him up to be a quality defender. Our captain was immense today - a "few mispaced passes" my arse. Time for some of the Albion's more blinkered fans to give our Scottish skipper a little more respect.

You think my opinion is based on Greer not being local? How about NO, it's just that Dunk impressed me today.

And re-read my post - I said Greer had had a DECENT game you cock.

Greer was far better than decent today. A rather unnecessarily aggressive retort. Oh hang on a sec, you live in Surrey. I understand now.

An IT consultant who lives in Surrey who thought that Greer had a "decent" game today. What a crap hat trick. Shouldn't you be supporting Palarse?
Yes you're right. Having a well paid job, living in the adjacent county and giving our captain a positive review on line - I feel like a real loser. You've really put me in my place there. :(

"Socialising With Chums"; "Association football"; "I'm incredibly handsome"; "Rugby Time With the Kids" - Feel a little crestfallen to find out that such a wanker would support BHA.

In all seriousness, I'd consider re-writing your profile as you do come across as being a total prick, though I guess your honesty should be respected.

To be honest, I'm getting a little bored sparring with a 17 year old key board warrior, so lets just leave it there as ultimately you wouldn't be brave enough to say all that drivel to my face.

This frankly childish spat has stemmed from you deciding that my opinion that Lewis Dunk played better than Gordon Greer is entirely down to "blinkered regional thinking", and it has no basis in anything I've said. Dunk was literally my MOM yesterday, I thought he was class.

I'm guessing that you are of Scottish descent and feel you are under-appreciated. So when you hear a fellow Scot getting mild praise, it reminds you of the times you didn't get the praise you deserved. Is that what is behind you going ballistic at a fellow NSCer describing Greer's performance as 'decent'?

I'm not slagging you off. Just interested in what is at play here. And yes, we all have our shit that we have to deal with.
