Personally I rather like Bodyrockers 'Round and Round'. Pure 70s ZZ Top, even the video is similar for those old enough to have seen it !

New albums (or just about to be out) from The New Pornographers, Sigur Ros, Broadcast, Sing Sing, Eileen Rose and Gemma Hayes are all worth checking out.

Id rather extract teeth than listen to Sigur Ros, I bought their last album I never managed to get past 3 tracks. Dire stuff.

I'm rather partial to 'Your Heart is an Empty Room' by Death Cab for Cutie

not my normal kind of thing - in fact I should hate it, it sounds like a bastard hybrid of The Pet Shop Boys, U2 and generic winge rock but I kinda like it

Mitchell Brothers are awful.

Good call on Marley the tune is HEAVY, song of the summer without doubt. Clubs go wild everytime that's on.

No. You're wrong. It's a marvellous thing.

Totally different but equally marvellous is Warmer Corners by The Lucksmiths. Indie pop at its finest.
