Just found some old Goldstone photos which I thought I would upload. Don’t expect much though as I was about 13 when I took these, plus the ground was closed when most were taken so some shots are quite voyeuristic!

If you look at the second last photo, there is an Emergency Exit sign - however read it carefully.

This sign now lives here having been acquired after the Donny match.

I took the back of a chair from the West Stand after the Doncaster game but sold it on Ebay six or seven years back when I was strapped for cash. Wish I hadn't done it now.

Can't be - the north crossbar is intact !

Looks more like the day after the Donny match, with those bits of the pitch dug up.

wow they are unreal....i found one with johnny byrne at a seagulls open day memories...also loved that club shop always bought a small picture of a player at every home game they were tiny but only 80p

It's almost been fourteen years but that shot of an occupied North Stand makes it feel like yesterday.

That's it. Must be my mid-life crisis kicking in. Yearning for times past and all that.

You can still see the "Grit beleives Beloti bullshit" graffiti on the back of the western perimeter <happy sigh>

Cheers guys. Not sure when the match ones were taken, some when between the Swansea game in Feb and the Wigan one in April ‘97. The empty stadium ones were all sometime shortly after the final game against Donny Rovers.
