In response to another thread, which one of these were you at - who has been to most? I think I went to seven of the last 9 (missing the two midweek ones v Derby in 76 and Charlton in 78).

Here are the 21 games, in chronological order (from Tim Carder's book):

Feb 33 v West Ham (FA Cup Rd 5) 32,310
Mar 54 v Southampton (Div 3 S) 31,025
Apr 56 v Orient (Div 3 S) 30,864
Apr 58 v Watford (Div 3 S) 31,038
Dec 58 v Fulham (Div 2) 36,747
Aug 59 v Aston Villa (Div 2) 31,828
Apr 65 v Darlington (Div 4) 31,423
Feb 67 v Chelsea (FA Cup Rd 4) 35,000
Sep 69 v Wolves (League Cup Rd 3) 32,539
Mar 70 v Reading (Div 3) 32,036
Dec 71 v Bournemouth (Div 3) 30,600
May 72 v Rochdale (Div 3) 34,766
Feb 76 v Crystal Palace (Div 3) 33,300
Oct 76 v Derby (League Cup Rd 4) 33,500
May 77 v Sheff Wed (Div 3) 30,756
Jan 78 v Southampton (Div 2) 32,979
Apr 78 v Tottenham H (Div 2) 32,647
Apr 78 v Charlton (Div 2) 31,203
Apr 78 v Blackpool (Div 2) 33,431
Oct 78 v West Ham (Div 2) 32,634
Apr 79 v Charlton (Div 2) 30,859

There were NO 30k plus crowds in the top flight, 8 in Div 2 (Championship), 8 in Div 3 (League One), 1 in Div 4 (League Two), 2 in the FA Cup and 2 in the League Cup.

The games against Rochdale and Darlington must surely be two of the biggest crowds those teams have played in front of!

Amazingly, there were three attendances over 30,000 in one month - April 1978.

I think I make it 11.
Everything from 1970 onwards except Rochdale (still can't believe my dad left me at home for that one).

15/16 can't remember the Blackpool match and the one that stands out is the Sheffield W and the first one I went to Watford

Think you have missed out Chelsea 13 Jan 1973 30124 FA Cup. That makes me 11. Darlington 65 and Chelsea 67 were the most memorable for me ! Villa 59 was my first ever game.

On NSC for over two decades...
Given that only nine of those matches happened within my lifetime - and all of those were before I was aged four - you can probably understand how I was in none of those 30k+ crowds! :D

All the recollections below are just that, I haven't looked up any of the details so happy to accept senilty may have blurred it all

Feb 76 v Crystal Palace (Div 3) 33,300 - my 1st ever Albion game and hooked, The Malcolm Allison managed/Peter Taylor playing for England as a 3rd division player team?
Oct 76 v Derby (League Cup Rd 4) 33,500 - we scored very early on, Charlie George equaliser for them?
May 77 v Sheff Wed (Div 3) 30,756 - Promoted? Eric Potts Sub for Wednesday and scored against us?
Jan 78 v Southampton (Div 2) 32,979
Apr 78 v Tottenham H (Div 2) 32,647 - Lots of aggro and violence but a 3-1 win?
Apr 78 v Charlton (Div 2) 31,203 - Not the 7 goal thriller or was it?
Apr 78 v Blackpool (Div 2) 33,431- Corresponding match at the Dell was a fix with Spurs?
Oct 78 v West Ham (Div 2) 32,634
Apr 79 v Charlton (Div 2) 30,859

I can't claim to have any outstanding memory of the others but I would definitely have been there as I don't think I missed a single home game for about 4 years around that time

This is just a thread to find all the old b******s!

I remember going to all the 78 and 79 games, not sure about 76 and 77 and my dad can't remember if he took me either!

Eleven for me too, the only difference between us is I did Rochdale but missed Bournemouth.

All 9 from Palace onwards. I'll never forget that night - the atmosphere was something else & we stuffed the scum with two Sammy Morgan goals.
