At the time near enough every game was attracting 10,000+ crowds (though the 'official' figures were always nearer to 8,000).
Wasn't the Barnet match where Ian Baird CHESTED in the winner, in front of the North Stand?
And this was just a few weeks later.
Thanks. Have one or two more from the same game - but before it got dark. Anyone interested
It is always good to see unseen pictures of the Goldstone Ground.
What is your definition of the word dark ?
The place was f***ing ROCKING that night. You couldn't move in the north stand, I'd usually go and chat to some of my mates who stood a at front at half time, but I couldn't even get out of that pen behind the goal.At the time near enough every game was attracting 10,000+ crowds (though the 'official' figures were always nearer to 8,000).

Still, it doesn't take 3 weeks take-home pay to buy a 20" TV like it did 25 years ago! Is that you? Reminds me of the strip in my first season, 1968-9 (East Terrace admission 20p adults, 10p boys)..........hmm, maybe prices haven't all gone your way!
