Going defensive when we are ahead

Given that we have had a fantastic start to the season and are sat at the top of the table, there isn't much to complain about, except...

CH seems to want to win everything by one goal.

That is fine for as long as you win everything. But let's be honest, we won't go unbeaten all season, so Chris needs to be a little bit more like Kreese from the Karate Kid and be screaming "Finish Them!!" from the touchline instead of seemingly being a little embarrassed we are winning after an hour.

I don't think that winning by 1 goal is his mindset. When we scored on Saturday, we continued on the offensive, scored again and should/could have made it 3-0 five minutes later. Also, at the beginning of the second half, we were still looking for a third. The decision to introduce a player like Ince when 1 goal up with 20-25 mins to go will usually work, and is the sort of thing that any manager would do.

The reason that we let them back in he game was carelessness in defence when 2-0 up, not negativity. Same happened against Rotherham in the play that led up to the free kick that they scored from.

This isn't a new thing, Houghton has done this all the bloody time. Yet now, because it didn't work, ONCE - people are all up in arms about it.

Move on people,
