pinamonte didn't. his first game was away at swansea and we lost 2-0. that emeka bloke did. kevin nicholls when he was on-loan in 1998-99 from a freekick

The game against Mansfield at Withdean was the first game of the season so Freeman and Newhouse did both score on their Albion debuts.

Brooker didnt score on his debut for us, it was away to Northampton we lost 1-0, he did score the following week in the 7-1 win at Chester.
Zamora scored in his debut a 1-1 home draw against Plymouth (a rather weak header as I remember)
Wayne Gray also scored 2 on his debut away a 4-1 win away to Colchester.
