Glasgow Rangers to buy Bury and play in England?

This is just the weirdest story.

So it could be Rangers posturing to the SPL, saying they have other options - but it's laughable, so I can't see what good it would do them.

Not saying it is true but the owners will argue there is enough precident here to make it happen:

1. Wimbledon bought out and moved 60 miles to a different town and renamed.
2. Swansea/Cardiff/Wrexham not playing in the national league from the country they are in.

It gives Rangers immediate access to the English league and potential access to more TV money.

Carlisle fans will probably be happy, less distance for them to travel!
