Get Hoyte in on a long-term loan in January?

Early to call I know, but him and Bennett seem to be on the same wave-length. Both intelligent players with a great combination of pace and class on the ball - a rarity at this level (espicially when you consider how rash Whing is on the ball sometimes).

Others agree? Bit harsh on Whing I know, but if it is an option open to us I'd like to see us take it...

I agree got the pace we need at the back, much better outlet then Whing. Sign him up:thumbsup:

Thought he did well tonight. Absolutely blinding cross towards the end as well.

Other than one wobble in the first half when he let his man get in front of him from a deep cross from the right, I thought Hoyte was first class tonight. Bennett clearly enjoyed having someone with pace and skill to support him on the overlap, and those two were a threat all night. With McNulty on the other side, we've got a genuine threat from both fullbacks (an absolute WORLD away from Virgo and El Abd in those positions).

I like him a lot. Please Arsene, can we have him for the season ?

I think we'll extend it for another month, and he'll go back in mid-December, giving Whingy the chance to earn his place back.

I can see Wenger wanting for him to have games so we may get him to Xmas and then they will probably loan him to a championship club till the end of the season.

He'd be good in our squad long term. With Mr.B here, perhaps we could afford him,but I suspect he'll get plenty of offers,so the qn is,would he choose the Albion?

As much as I'd like us to sign Hoyte the only way I can see him staying permenantly is if we somehow manage to sneak the play offs this season and get promotion. Signing for a Championship club with a new stadium on the way and an ambitious chairman would be tempting for him...

Promotion through the play offs is a real possibility despite what all the nay saying dream-stealers on here keep saying...

would make a very good long term loan signing till the end of the season

It just shows why having 2 'PROPER' full backs makes such a difference.

Virgs and others have done their best to fill in but Hoyte and Jim showed why you need 2 specialists. Both supported the players in front of them and the pace of Hoyte and Bennett together if used well will cause teams at this and higher levels a problem :clap::clap:

If he's available for longer, then we should do it. He's better than what we already have in that position, simple as that.

Would love to see him here for longer at least Xmas if not the whole season. Much better than Whing and bearing in mind that was only his second game there will be more to come.

he looks very good but unlikely to sign for a team below the Championship, hope we can at least get an extension on his loan period which should keep us out of the relegation area.

Can't see Arsenal allowing him to stay beyond the maximum 93 day loan period. They will then send him out to another club.
