You use the word "project" as do many commentators in the media; the "Mitteleuropa" concept mentioned in my previous post was also described as such over a century ago. Same idea, same vocabulary. I'd rather not be part of anyone's "project", thanks.

Well if memory of history from school is correct, in the middle of the 19th Century, a number of German States formed the Zollverien, a customs and trade union that led to the unification of Germany. What followed was the Bismarcks 'blood and iron' speech, the Franco German War, the First World Way. The point being that we have seen this all before on a smaller scale, not interested in semantcs myself either.

The British & Americans supplied the soviets with a crap load of tanks, aircraft, weapons and raw materials/machinary equipment to support their manufacturing output.
