Georgie Boy Parris

together with Stafford Browne and Richard Tiltman.

Three of the best players we have ever had.

Nah - you're doing him a bit of a disservice there I think (I'm assuming you're being sarcastic btw!)

George Parris was OK for our team at the time (which, granted, was a pile of poop). And I remember that "hiding behind the post" goal he scored against Bristol Rovers at the Goldstone once

Gunther replace the G with a C and you're about right.
To put Chicken George in the same catergory as Browne or Tiltman is extremely wide of the mark.
Although I don think time has actually proved that Tiltman wasn't as bad as we all thought.
He was not very good/shit in a struggling Barry Lloyd led team in the old 2nd Div, think of the likes of Moralee, McDougald and Maskell who were shit in the old Division 4!

But Maskell scored enough goals to help us out of trouble. I'll replace Parris with Raphel Meade.

Maskell's hat-trick in the Fans United game gave us the goal difference that kept us above Hereford
