I have to admit that I feel a tad stoopid for buying supermarket-own mayonnaise & fooling myself it was up to the Hellmans standard. Bought a jar of the mistress of creamy condiments t'other day (as it was on special offer), & I went Oooooooooooooooooo! a-la Sir Bob Of The Carolgees.

Consequently, I ain't gonna be pissing about with any other inferior nonsense in future - even if there is a bleedin' recession goin' on. Anybody else seen the light & kicked a cheapie into touch?

Did a test once with Heinz beans and Sainsburys own brand, cooked separately in two identical unmarked saucepans, fed to wife and kids and they could not tell one from the other.
Same happened with the tinned spaggetti (spelling?).
