He's mentioned in commentary he commented on Aldershot earlier in the season, is that where he came from? Was he the Aldershot commentator until "windowlickergate" let him in in place of Andrew Hawes?

Because I really don't like his voice, if I'm honest.

i think he's okay. tony towner on the other hand... surely somebody with some knowledge of our players could sit next to him? v poor

Compared to Mr Hawes, he's amateur. Well, compared to alot of people he is. It's a shame they didn't advertise the position, rather than just give it to him. Though, that's how Andrew Hawes got the job wasn't it?

I agree though, Towner's voice annoys me, and he doesn't seem to know what he's talking about! Where is the legend, Norman Gall.
