Going to have to disagree with that.
I don't think LB would have been made if it weren't for LoG, esp the 1st series.
Yes LoG got increasingly dark and involved, but there are too many similar characters. The whole feel of LB is akin to LoG.
I'm sure a more knowledgeable person than myself will be able to pick out most of the LB cast from other shows.
LB wasn't innovative it was just, for whatever reason, perfectly timed and caught up a 'feeling' in the country that sent it spiralling almost out of control.
A fact I'm sure i've heard Walliams (sp) and Lucas allude too.
