Just as well he's probably the least slated player we have:bowdown:

I do seem to recall a "Gary Hart - 'professional footballer?' discuss" thread once....wasn't you by any chance?

Ridiculous, the man is a legend...(even if his best position probably isn't as our target man!!)

He's a decent player being played out of position. I feel quite sorry for him this season. A striker he is not, a midfielder he most definitely is.

Why? Every interview I've ever read from him says he's always been prepared to play wherever he is needed in the team because all he wants to do is play. Hart came late to professional football and knows what the alternatives are, therefore if the manager asks can he do a job somewhere he'll say yes then commit himself 110% to it.

Interestingly read a quote today by Martin O'Neill about Stefan Moore playing out wide saying that it's good for players to play out of position in order to learn how other positions are played.
