My mum has just died...go to direct gov.co.uk ...what to do after a death...very helpful and clear. Get as many death certificates as you think you will need...cheaper to get them when you register than when you go back. Good luck...its hard and emotional stuff. Sarah

My condolences on the loss of your Mum, its bloody hard isn't it? I did get quite a few copies of the death certificate. I think most things have been sorted now. As I said, because of the recommendations on here, we have chosen to use Ian Hart, and so far so good. We will be seeing somebody Monday morning to finalise things before the funeral. Dad's passing has has put a dampener on what should be a fantastic time with the Albion. But although he was a Hammer(born in the road that runs behind Upton Park), I shall still be thinking of him on Aug 6th. (his birthday is the day before).
