Actually making sausage rolls is a skill I need to acquire. Moving to America in three weeks' time means I shall have no choice

I've heard good things about Greggs. I am excited about the prospect of making my own ones now. How do you do it?

My gran used to make some cracking Sausage rolls.

All you need is some pork mincemeat, add some pepper, onions, maybe some herbs and make them into sausage shapes. Then wrap them with puff pastry. Then glaze the puff pastry and make some cuts in the middle.

Cook for 15 mins or so, et voila.

Yep, I regularly carry on walking past Forfars in Kemp Town and buy bread from the Co-op (even though it usually has a hideous queue).

I've started boycotting my local Co-op since I spotted Forfars products in their bakery section.
