Bristol Rovers striker Junior Agogo is set to sign for Nottingham Forest.

Bristol City's first team coach Paul Trollope confirmed Forest's move for the Ghana international, 26, after the Robins' 1-0 win over Grimsby.

"Forest are interested and next week we'll find out which way that will go," Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol.

"We will do the right thing for the club and if he does go we will try to replace him with quality, and we have already identified some players."

They already have a potent strike force. No stopping them

Didn't we nearly sign him a couple of seasons back?

Well NSC thought we should, not sure if the club even inquired about him though

...one to forget then!

Thats one of a few games that sticks in my mind from the first season at withdean for some reason. Cullip also scored on hes debut! We lost 3-2 and chester ended up getting relegated that season!

Haven't we "nearly signed" about 8 billion strikers over the last few years....???

Hmmmm. Not sure he will add much to be honest.
I think they are just looking for someone with pace to cover for Tyson.

Agogo was the only striker I have said we should sign in the last five years on NSC.

He scored a brilliant solo goal at Withdean. I can't remember who for, possibly Chester? But his career went nowhere after that, Barnet then non-league.

Another player we ought to have a look is Matt Bloomfield of Wycombe, who has been injured.

Was that when Mark Walton kicked the ball out and it bounced in of Kerry's ample 'rump'?
