Your message seems to have gotten through to Gus.

Argus today:

Poyet said: “Palace is bigger, I’ve got no doubt, because they are the biggest rival. Newcastle are not, we don’t see them very often.

If you play for Brighton there is only one big rival, Palace, so the rest doesn’t matter.”

Also in The Sun. (Can't be arsed to find the link)

In the Sun it says THIS

GUS POYET has told Brighton's FA Cup heroes tonight's clash with arch-rivals Crystal Palace is more important than their win over Newcastle.
The Seagulls beat Toon 1-0 to set up a fifth-round trip to Liverpool.

But Poyet said: "This is bigger than the Newcastle game because Palace are our biggest rivals.

"Newcastle are a very big Premier League club but are not our rivals."

Palace won 3-1 at Brighton in September. Poyet said: "That was unacceptable and one of my most disappointing days as Brighton manager. Tonight I want to come away from Selhurst Park with three points, the only thing their players will be getting is chlamydia from the local slappers"

Meanwhile, Wolves striker Sam Vokes, 22, has agreed to move to the Amex for the rest of the season.

It is the sixth time he has been sent on loan from Molineux.

Sorry if I'm stating the bleeding obvious here but the significance of the is quote is that he says If you play for Brighton rather than simply if you support Brighton. I like that.

CMS was also referring to this game as "the big one" on Twitter

Are we sure it wasn't Reading v Oxford?

(I think it's Oxford, Reading don't really have any proper rivals, do they?)

You were doing so well to lift the spirits until that bit.

Adams would have had each player up against the wall giving them a slap and saying DONT f***ing LOSE.

He WOULD ya know.
