Lawrenson was at the Albion at the time of this game, but he was still injured and not playing, so would probably have not been at the game. It was this injury which led to Gary Stevens playing, and I remember, having been at Old Trafford that day, then seeing Stevens at Southwick Rec on the Sunday morning with a nice shiner from the game. Lawrenson's first game back after injury was at Forest in November when we won 1-0, their first home defeat for 40 odd games - and our first away win that season.
