I was there, 12 years old with my blue and white rattle, who'd have thought that 45 years later I'd be watching Norman again on a laptop at this hour of the morning. And today is my eldest Grandson's 12th birthday, tempus fugit!

Me also, 10 year old, on the east terrace, near the front with blue and white bobble hat and scarf and blue and white rattle.
Remember watching Norman doing his famous walk out to the centre circle, a star of tv and film, 1st time i'd seen anyone famous in the flesh, and he was singing about my team.
Glorious memories which makes me feel bloody old, that was 45 years ago.


The word legend is bandied about too much these days, he was a true one.
