Flasks of drink at football.

I take flask on coffee for half time as cant be arsed to queue....but had a mare at the weekend.

By the time i got to Brighton station the entire contents of my flask had emptied into my bag soaking my hat, gloves, christmas cards and most disappointingly my mince pies. Evidently I hadn't screwed the lid on properly. A school boy error I shall not be repeating.

... I also occasionally take a hip flask for medicinal purposes when the weather turns cold...

There are no other purposes, surely?

One of my overwhelming memories as a child at the Goldstone was the smell of whisky infused coffee wafting round the south west corner at half time on winter afternoons.

Didn't much seem to bother the dads who were driving home too
